Dear Colleagues:

I have been engaged in talks with a program manger over at Pearson about potentially reviving Miessler & Tarr's Inorganic Chemistry for a sixth edition. I initially submitted a proposal based on an analysis of the syllabi many of you shared on here, but now I'm looking for some more concrete interest to help tip the scales the last little bit to (hopefully) overcome their remaining hesitation. There truly is no replacement available for a one-semester inorganic course like mine here at Xavier in Cincinnati.

This said, my question is simple: If Pearson were to revive M&T for a sixth edition, would you consider adopting it for your course?
