In response to Amanda Reig's request on Facebook, I'm starting a discussion forum where we can share periodic table files in a variety of formats. I have included two Word versions in portrait and landscape mode as well as an Excel file. These files can get manipulated to fit on a credit card.
This link is for an article on the group 3 question that has been debated for sometime.
Last week, I found out that the a music professor at my institution loves the periodic table as much as an inorganic chemist and has put together two songs about the periodic table (before Livermorium and Flerovium were named).
I'm looking for some last minute help. My inorganic class is larger than the room where I normally teach in so I've been moved to a larger room with no periodic table!
Here's a fun question, prompted by this blog posting:
How many of the chemical elements have you worked with in your research and teaching, either in elemental form or in a chemical compound?
