Description

Students build several organic molecules in the WebMO builder and examine their symmetry elements and point group.  Then students build structures with particular point groups starting from a benzene or cyclohexane structure.

Equipment needs

A computer with a web browser able to connect to a WebMO server.  As only the WebMO builder is used this whole activity can be completed using the WebMO demo server.
